Campaign against aspirin?

For decades, a daily regimen of low-dose so-called “baby aspirin” (81milligrams), was recommended to prevent and treat heart attack, stroke and angina (chest pain) in those 50 and older

That began to change in 2014, when the U.S. Food and Drug Administration started warning against the use of aspirin as a primary preventive for these conditions. In late 2021, the United States Preventive Services Task Force (USPSTF) also updated its guidance to formally discourage people 60 and older from using an aspirin regimen to prevent a first heart attack or stroke

Aspirin is likely the victim of an intentional pharma discrediting campaign to justify and promote the use of newer, patented and far more expensive nonsteroidal anti- inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) and anticoagulants

Research has shown aspirin works just as well as pricier anticoagulants such as heparin and Xarelto for preventing post-operative blood clots and clots associated with bone fractures

Aspirin also increases the oxidation of glucose as fuel, and has anti-lipolytic effects, so it helps lower both the supply of dangerous omega-6 fat to your cells and the excessive oxidation of fats. Aspirin will also lower your baseline cortisol, indirectly by lowering inflammation, and directly by inhibiting the enzyme that synthesizes active cortisol from the inactive precursor cortisone

Safety data of hepatitis B vaccines

The safety data on Recombivax HB, the hepatitis B vaccine for newborns, are sadly lacking, as the FDA approved the shot based on clinical trials performed on only 147 infants and children and followed for only five days

There are four hepatitis B vaccines, two of which are approved for infants; the second approved for infants is Engerix-B, and clinical safety data show infants and children were followed for only four days in these trials

Most infants are not at high risk for hepatitis B. It makes better financial and health sense to test mothers before birth and vaccinate only those infants born to mothers with an active or chronic hepatitis B infection, putting off vaccination in other infants until they are older

The current childhood vaccination schedule includes 19 potential doses of vaccines and one mRNA experimental injection by the time an infant is 6 months old. Many of these contain aluminum, which raises a child's risk of persistent asthma in childhood

Vitamin D saves lives

Vitamin D supplementation cut risk of death from COVID-19 by 51% and reduced risk of admission to the intensive care unit (ICU) by 72%

The results were deemed “conclusive” and suggest “a definitive association between the protective role of vitamin D and ICU hospitalization” from COVID-19

Vitamin D may protect against COVID-19 by maintaining pulmonary barrier function, boosting the innate immune response and reducing the production of proinflammatory cytokines

In another study, none of the patients with severe COVID-19 who received high-dose vitamin D died; instead, 100% of the group improved

Regulatory agencies around the world are largely industry-funded, which is likely why they aren’t recommending vitamin D — a “dirt cheap” intervention — for COVID-19

Human gut microbiome endangered !

The film, “The Invisible Extinction, ” warns that the human microbiome is endangered, putting humans at risk

The film highlights the work of microbiologists Dr. Martin Blaser and Gloria Dominguez-Bello — a husband-wife team — who are looking into both the problem and a potential solution to save microbial diversity

The overuse of antibiotics, elective C-sections and processed foods are “driving the destruction of our inner ecology, ” according to the film

The dramatic increases in chronic diseases, including Type 1 diabetes, asthma, obesity, gastroesophageal reflux disease and inflammatory bowel disease, may be linked to the loss of bacterial diversity in our guts

Dominguez-Bello is president of The Microbiota Vault, a global nonprofit initiative attempting to “conserve long-term health for humanity” by storing and preserving microbiota samples and collections

The fake meat problem

The fake meat industry is being touted as an environmentally friendly and sustainable way to feed the world. However, it’s an underhanded attempt to recreate the kind of global control that Monsanto and others achieved through patented GMO seed development

Lab-created meats may turn out to be one of the most health-harming ultraprocessed foods ever created. While the true impact on public health won’t be seen for years or decades, the preliminary evidence warrants concern

Cultured or cell-based meat is made from animal cells grown in a solution of fetal bovine serum or other growth medium. Normal cells cannot replicate enough times to create a slab of meat, though, which is why many companies use immortalized cells, i.e., precancerous and/or cancerous animal cells

While researchers claim there’s no risk to eating these cells, as they’re not human cells, there are no long-term studies to confirm this assumption

The fact that our regulatory agencies are captured by industry and no longer seem to be taking public health into consideration only adds to the uncertainty, yet getting government approval is the industry’s primary strategy to win public trust

Near infrared light benefits

The typical infrared sauna sold in the U.S. is far-infrared. These low-energy wavelengths provide virtually no photobiomodulation health benefits; they only heat your body superficially

The near-infrared wavelengths can penetrate up to 4 inches into your body’s tissues. The incandescent light bulb is the most efficient way to heat tissue because it is mostly near-infrared

Only a few percent of solar radiation are far-infrared. About 40% of the sunlight spectrum is near-infrared

Sunlight and incandescent light interacts with light receptor proteins called chromophores in your body. When light hits the chromophores, they activate a variety of biological processes. Near-infrared also activates the mitochondrial chelating systems in the cells

Near-infrared light therapy stimulates your mitochondria to release nitric oxide and boost ATP production which, together, promote healing effects such as DNA repair and cellular regeneration

Food Compass stimulating junk food

The Food Compass, unveiled in 2021, claims to be a science-based tool to rank the healthfulness of foods, but actually promotes ultraprocessed junk

Its lead author, Dariush Mozaffarian, dean of the Tufts Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy, has close ties to the Rockefeller Foundation and the World Economic Forum (WEF), while Tufts receives funding from junk food corporations

Independent journalist Nina Teicholz has illustrated the shortcomings in the Food Compass, showing how even potato chips, corn chips and Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups score higher than eggs, cheese and ground beef

A critique of the Food Compass proposed that its algorithm produces “results that fail to discriminate for common shortfall nutrients, exaggerate the risks associated with animal-source foods, and underestimate the risks associated with ultraprocessed foods

The Food Compass’ emphasis on ultraprocessed junk continues with a clear favor for fake food over real food
